Internship review
After spending the past 3 months working for FineLine, viewing many, many weddings, assisting the photographers, editing over 10 wedding videos, and taking thousands of pictures, it made me realize that I don't think I would ever want to be in the wedding business after I graduate from college. The people at my internship site are great. Fred is a great supervisor and Cory is always willing to help me edit the videos and showing me how to better them. Lori and Luke are great to work with at weddings and Lori always knows how to have a laugh. I think this experience has really taught me a lot about myself. It taught me that I definitely do not want to be in the wedding business, it taught me patience when going through the hundreds and hundreds of clips from weddings, and it taught me that I know that this field is the right one for me. No matter how many hours I spent looking at a computer and moving clips around and cutting clips, I realized that this is genuinely what I want to do. I guess essentially I would like a job like my internship, editing videos together, paying attention to detail, and adding music to clips, etc., but I would want to be editing different content like TV shows and movies.
